The combined Silver Comet Trail (Georgia) and Chief Ladiga Trail (Alabama) is generally considered one of the longest continuous paved rail-trail systems in the world, spanning nearly 100 miles from near Atlanta, GA, to Anniston, AL. I completed a 50 mile ride yesterday through beautiful forest sections in Alabama and Georgia.
